Heat of Compression Air Dryer

Heated from the inside Heat is created in non-lubricated air compressors, which is lost owing to cooling in the after cooler. This heat is used to heat the air for regeneration in the Heat of Compression HOC Air Dryer. Hot compressed air is fed via a heater in this dryer to maintain a temperature of roughly 180 degrees Celsius before being pushed through the desiccant bed for regeneration. This air is cooled in an after cooler, where moisture is collected and drained away in a moisture separator, after the moisture has been removed. The cooled air is then sent through the desiccant tower for drying.

The following is a list of notable features: -There will be no purging losses. -Electrical Heater Load Savings -It is simple to produce a dew point of (-) 600C in the atmosphere. -From 400 CFM onwards, the most cost-effective.
